I've put together a list of books on various subject that I would personally reccomend. These are books that I have read. Some day, I hope to have my own book listed here, but for now, here ya go...

Food Photography Related

This is the state of the art book on food photography right now. It will give you lots of insight into various aspects of food photography, and some aspects of photography in general.

This is an older book. I think I bought it when I was in school, but I still check it out from time to time... If you want to only get one book, get the one above. If you want to learn all you can, get everything you can.

Marketing Related

Being a good photographer is one thing, but equally important is understanding the business and marketing end. Don't sell youself short. Understand the business too.

General Photography Related

Lighting is lighting... One type of photography technique can be applied to another.
