I have come to food styling from an unorthodox route. My love of food started at a very young age as my Mother and I would go into the kitchen and fix late night treats of great delights and very tasty too. I was taught at a very young age to eat with your eyes and not with your stomach.

I worked my way through school at the grand hotels on Miami Beach where food was showcased as great works of art. There chef’s would create great ice sculptures and the masters of the art of Garmage would make a watermelon fruit salad look like the Eifel Tower. Food was more exciting to me than the great works of art at The Louvre in Paris France. The colors, the taste…oh what a wonderful medium for art!

After school I flew for PanAM Airlines where my education on food prep and serving skills matured under the guidance of Maxim's of Paris. Later a career in hotel management and even later a career in publishing a culinary magazine, introduced me to food styling. If ever a job was created for any one person…this was me!

As a magazine publisher for a culinary magazine I had the opportunity to serve on culinary school advisory committees, judge food cook off’s and competitions and serve on Olympic cooking teams with international chefs. I became considerately aware of the importance of ‘the presentation’ on the plate and the tricks of propping the presentation.

Since then my production skills have taken me from farm to table, from kitchen to set, working with chef’s, small and large, food companies and advertising agency’s bringing good looking images that savor the eye and stimulate the taste to all that gaze upon my work. I have worked in all media forms from stills, TV, video and film.

I work out of Atlanta GA, Tampa FL and Houston TX
