Monica’s love of food began at a young age. She grew up working in her family’s Italian food shop but her passion was always in baking. She has found satisfaction in the art of creating something beautiful as well as delicious. Having honed her culinary skills in several of the Boston area’s premier cake shops as well as America’s Test Kitchen, she founded a boutique cake business. Food styling was a natural progression in her long career in the food industry. It is a way to unite both her love for baking as well as extensive savory cooking experience to create visual art. Her attention to detail as well as culinary skill makes her an asset on set.
