I have worked in the culinary field for more than 30 years. Currently, I work as a freelance consultant specializing in food and prop styling (editorial, print advertising, packaging, and TV/Web video), a food-product and  recipe developer and as a cookbook author/contributor.

My extensive culinary knowledge stems from a hands-on experience as a professional executive chef, event specialist, cooking-school instructor, and owner/operator of an upscale catering service and retail outlet. I hold a B.A. in History of Art from The Ohio State University, supplemented with a vast range of culinary apprenticeships, specialized pastry courses and industry-related workshops.

In tandem with clients, art directors and photographers, I work passionately to help conceptualize and customize a fresh and flavorful style for each project. Working to ensure the most accurate, enticing and natural look for each image. I also bring a good-humored, collegial, budget-conscience, generous work ethic to each assignment and collaboration.

My home base is Central Ohio, and the majority of my clients are in the Midwest, although I am happy to consider projects wherever they may land.
