One of the reasons I like doing work for companies outside the US is that I get to learn a little about another culture, that food, and therefore food photography, is part of that cultural difference. This shot is a great example of that… In the US, filet mignon is a very costly cut of steak, but in Brazil, that isn’t the case. In fact, they like to include it in their “kids meals” because it’s tender and more easily eaten by kids. Have you ever seen a filet mignon kids meal before?
And… They like to really whip their potatoes too! :o)
